Balance Your Creativity Within: Meditations for Healing the Past

by | 08/25/2018 | Creative Living

“Hardship may dishearten at first, but every hardship passes away. All despair is followed by hope; all darkness is followed by sunshine.” – Rumi

In our journey through life, especially in times of darkness and despair (such as grieving the passing of a relationship), the process of healing and letting go of the painful memories can be challenging.

If we courageously choose to accept the truth, we begin to diminish the darkness of our past. We may never forget what happened when a relationship ends, but we can choose to forgive others, and our self.

When a relationship ends, new relationships and new endeavors begin that give us strength and courage to keep moving forward. It’s in times like these we can face the truth of the past, find forgiveness in others and our self, and then, let it go.

Only then, can we truly create space in our hearts to transition out of the darkness of our past and return to our light, balance our creativity within, and continue moving forward through life.

As we courageously continue on our journey in the present moment, leaving behind the safety of the past, without dwelling in the comfort of the past, we can live a life without fear and regret.

“There is a field somewhere beyond all doubt and wrongdoing. I’ll meet you there.” – Rumi

As Janet Jackson sings in her new song, we are made for now! In the present, we can set the intention to heal, forgive, and let go of the past. Yes, we’ll still have moments of sadness, memories of what was and expectations of a future that could have been. And, that’s okay! On the hand, we can also choose to ground ourselves in the moment, gracefully moving back into the light of our joy.

Remember, you have the power within you to heal, grow, and move forward – you AREA a creator – you are what you seek. As Rumi said, “You are no small creature. You are the universe in static motion.” Everything you seek is within you.

When we accept the past, embracing the truth, finding forgiveness, and let go, we can begin to move forward through the process of healing. The work can be challenging and painful, and sometimes we feel like we can’t do it alone.

Why this 7-Day “Balance Your Creativity Within” Meditation Series?

I have a philosophy a friend summarized quite well. He said this, “Jason represent the human ascension of spiritual awakening, and through that being more creative, and using the right tools and technology we have available to us now to empower our communication.”

It takes courage to face the past and the fears we have about ourselves – letting go of old, outdated, and unnecessary limiting beliefs we’ve held onto our whole life. Regardless of your spiritual beliefs, I am here to tell you, based on my own life experience, each of us can heal ourselves.

It’s okay to be courageous – true to your most authentic self, and strive for your highest purpose. I will always encourage others to speak up and share their truth. We all deserve the chance to realize our full potential as the creative beings we are to mean to be – helping raise the love, compassion, awareness, and vibration of others in the process.
